2004 Subaru WRX aka "Mikey"

Wrxmikey updated their 2004 Subaru WRX bio

well, where to even start.... I bought this 2004 WRX about 6 months ago as of the 6th of December of 2015 and I have FLIPPED this car around. I saw so much potential in this car and after she spun a bearing, I knew I had to go big with this build. So I took her to COBB about 3 months after owning the car due to the previous seller falsely informing me of a "rebuilt" motor the car had at 135K miles... So after COBBSOCAL took her apart. they unfolded a story for me about how poorly she's been treated for the past 11 years. Well I set a budget (so much for that "budget" by the way at the end of all this.) But I wanted to have something unique and that not many people have seen. AKA stage 2 or the basic STI swapped motor. I decided to bore out the old block to a 2.3L motor with complete forged internals and an STI crankshaft along with MANY other mods in this car. but I'm currently rebuilding this car from bottom up. new suspension, new interior pieces from the junkyard in San Diego, CA. (Make use of what resources you have!) and many other things with countless hours I've been putting into her. you can follow me on IG (wrxmikey) if you care to see what I'm doing on the daily bases with my car. I just finished with the sway bar end links from whiteline and I'm writing a review on them after I'm done with setting this profile page up tonight. Still on the break-in tune on my car and I wont have the final numbers until the end of December so stay tuned!! UPDATE: car made 311 wheel horse power and 288 foot pounds of torque on bad 91 pump gas at cobb socal. getting a retune at yimisport next Wednesday on the 27th. Have made a few upgrades and better supporting mods for the motor, had to evenb fabricate my own hood scoop ducting to better help the upgraded top mount intercooler breathe better and prevent heat soak. Hoping she'll be pushing some slightly better numbers because COBB only tuned my car to run 18.95 psi on my Blouch Dominator 1.5 XTR turbo. when they said that turbo should be at 22-23psi. so who knows what will happen next week!? I'll be sure to post pics and keep everyone updated! (22JAN2016)**** -waiting update...
